The twin candle frame-on-frame case with later frosted glass panels to the base and mid section, re-painted dial with convex Roman chapter ring, signed BIRGE & FULLER/BRISTOL, CONN., the eight day movement with anchor escapement and strike on gong, with iron leaf springs and levers with brass chains to iron pulley wheels, the inside of the backboard pasted with a trade label for BIRGE & FULLER BRISTOL, CONN./PATENT ACCELERATING LEVER SPRING -- 27½ in. (69.5 cm.) high
