The case with glazed front door, thermometer to the inside, silvered sight ring to 11½ in. (29 cm.) diameter silvered and engraved regulator format dial, signed DENT, 33 COCKSPUR ST./LONDON, blued steel hands, the substantial eight day movement with five front- and back-screwed pillars and secured to the seatboard with four screws, maintaining power, wheels with six crossings, Vulliamy-type dead beat escapement with jewelled pallets, fine regulation to the crutchpiece -- 80¾ in. (205 cm.) high; with steel rod and glass jar mercury pendulum (mercury removed); brass weight
