The arched case with cornucopia and loop handles to the sides above fret panels (possibly later), the white enamel Roman dial signed THWAITES & REED/LONDON, blued steel hands, the eight day movement with arched plates joined by four pillars, front plate stamped 9328, single wire fusee with anchor escapement, holdfast to plain back plate -- 11½ in. (29 cm.) high; pendulum
