An English ebonised and brass-mounted table timepiece, the case basically early 18th Century
The moulded cushion top case with repoussé brass mounts and brass urn finials, later side frets, later brass dial with probably original winged cherub mask spandrels and silvered chapter ring, the latter signed J. Windmills London, replaced blued steel hands, now with Victorian eight day single chain fusee movement with rectangular plates and anchor escapement -- 13¾ in.
