The chamfer top case with pineapple finial, pierced brass sound frets to the sides, ebonised ripple mouldings, brass-lined fielded panels to the front, white painted convex Roman dial with blued steel serpentine hands, signed Robert Miller/TOTTENHAM, strike/silent lever above XII, the eight day movement with shouldered plates joined by five pillars, twin wire fusees with anchor escapement and strike on bell 18 in. (46 cm.) high; pendulum, key, two case keys
