FOUR FÜRSTENBURG CABINET-PLATES
CIRCA 1815-20, BLUE F ENGRAVED X BLUE 1 MARKS
Painted with flowers, fruit and vegetables, against dark-brown grounds, the first plate with white roses, the second with pink, white and yellow roses, the other two plates with fruit and vegetables, one with a cob of sweetcorn, an apple, plums and grapes, the other with a lychee, plums, cherries, red-currants, gooseberries and melons, the inside edge of the borders with gilt bands tooled with overlapping geometric panels, within pale-blue ground borders with garlands of gilt ciselé foliage within gilt band rims (areas of wear to enamels at wells, slight wear to gilding and some areas with brown speckled deterioration)
