A well engineered and presented model gas fired marine steam set,
built by Maxwell Hemmens, comprising a twin burner brass-bound, wood lagged copper boiler with normal fittings, superheated steam line to two twin cylinder four pillar vertical reversing small bore engines the valve chest cover plates engraved "Max II Comrod Hamburg" and each with eccentric driven feed pumps, displacement lubricators, disc flywheels and twin shafts with outboard bearings and four blade propellors, finished in red, black and polished brightwork, wood mount -- 30.5 x 80.8 cm. (12 x 20in.) Gas pipes and burners.
