The first with the arms of Archer impaling Meares, the interior rim enamelled and gilt with a border of rocaille scrolls; the second with the arms of Wood quartering Snelling, the sides with grisaille and gilt flowers and a grisaille and gilt floral medallion in the interior; the last with the arms of Darley, famille rose flower sprays on the sides

Lot Essay

The first bowl (arms of Archer impaling Heares) broken in half and restuck, two other very fine hairlines at the rim; the second with some light surface wear to the interior, otherwise in nice condition; the last with a large section broken and restuck.
