Gathering wild flowers

Morris was a genre painter who tackled biblical, historical and domestic subjects before concentrating on portraits later in his career. He was awarded two silver medals whilst a student at the Royal Academy Schools, and enjoyed a successful career exhibiting at the Royal Academy, Grosvenor Gallery and elsewhere.
