A Chinese silver circular box and cover, maker's mark Da Xing, 19th century
decorated in repousse on the sides with a continuous scene of mounted warriors and footmen amidst pine and bamboo approaching a walled pavilion garden with two officials seated to opposing tables, dignitaries and attendants, the cover with dignitaries and ladies on a pavilion terrace watching dancers and the sides with a floral scroll -- 6 5/8in. (16.8cm.) diam.
