A Tibetan gilt-bronze figure of Avalokitesvara in the form of Sadaksari, 17th Century
the four-armed Bodhisattva seated in dyanasana on a double lotus base, a celestial scarf hangs over his primary arms the hands of which are brought together in namaskar mudra, further hands are brought up to shoulder height holding a padma and a string of beads, wearing a dhoti and beaded jewellery and a five crowned ornate headdress - 9in. (22.8cm) high.
