Edo period (17th century), signed Hoki (no) kuni Kurayoshi (no) Ju sai no-o Shichirosaemon (no) jo Morihiro saku and dated Kanei hachinen (1631)
Sugata [configuration]: hon-zukuri, iori-mune, chu-kissaki, torii-zori
Kitae [forging pattern]: tight mokume resembling nashiji
Hamon [tempering pattern]: hako choji midare of nie and nioi with some tobi yaki, sunagashi and yo
Boshi [tip]: hakikake
Nakago [tang]: ubu with katte sagari file marks; two holes, one plugged
