Hon-zukuri, iori-mune, koshi-zori, ko-kissaki which was altered during polishing and forged with a tight, flowing itame mixed with masame of jinie; the tempered edge suguha midare with some togariba and sunagashi and an indistinct tip; carved with bo-hi on both sides; the tang suri-age with three holes; the habaki single, gold; in shirasaya; 80.2cm. long; 3.2cm. wide at start of tempered edge; 1.4cm. wide before tip
