A Chinese blanc-de-chine figure of Guanyin, 19th 20th century
modelled seated in a 'Royal Ease' pose on a double lotus stand, leaning to the left resting her arms on a lotus bloom, wearing long flowing robes revealing a beaded lotus necklace at the chest, the face with eyes downcast and a serene expression framed by the plated hair flowing over her shoulders, impressed 'pu zi yu ren' ('Virtue extends to all, even fishermen') mark -- 7 7/8in. (20cm.) high.
