With a green leather lined top and three frieze drawers with arched foliate carved aprons and sixteen spiral turned legs, raised on two plinths with foliate carved feet, the centre drawer lock stamped 'J.T.NEEDS 100 NEW BOND ST LATE J.BRAMAH 124 PICADILLY' and with an impressed crown

Bramah locks so marked indicate a date between 1874 -1901, at which time the company was owned bt J.T Needs & Co. The company held Royal Warrants from both Queen Victoria and King Edward VII.
