See Hugo Morley-Fletcher & Roger McIlroy, Christie's Pictorial History of European Pottery, p. 188, fig. 9 for an example with leopard-form handles and hound-form finial; and p.188, fig. 7 and 8 for two slight variations of this form illustrated with and without rocaille-moulding and with a clustered fish finial.

See Antoinette Faÿ-Hallé & Christine Lahaussois, Le Grand Livre de la Faïence Française, p. 221, fig. 285 for an example in the Musée Cantini, Marseille with similar handles and variant finial; also Arthur Lane, French Faience, p. 56B for a tureen of similar form painted with a landscape view and figures from the Collection of M. For two tureens of similar form and decoration but with variant finals, see Danielle Maternati-Baldouy, Faïence et Porcelaine de Marseille, Marseille, 1997, p. 132 et 133. Also compare an anonymous sale, Christie's Paris, 22 June 2004, lot 147 and lot 148.
