1723-24, crossed swords and K.P.M. in underglaze blue, gilder's K. to both
Painted around the sides in the manner of J.G. Horoldt with two scenes of chinoiserie figures within quatrelobed borders embellished with elaborate gilt and iron-red foliate scrollwork enclosing Bottger lustre panels, flanked by sprays of indianische Blumen within gilt rims, the cover with a larger group of two figures conversing across a low tea table within a border of gilt scrollwork and a gilt band at the rim
