MARK OF PIERRE GILLOIS, LONDON, 1768,
Of bombé form with domed, fluted covers & pineapple finials, gadroon borders & foliate scroll feet, each engraved with armorial within drapery mantling, bases engraved with monogram "ID", also a contemporary unmarked caddy spoon with bifurcated handle & scalloped bowl (bowl repaired), in fitted mahogany case with marquetry banding & lined in deep pink velvet, collapsible silver double scroll handle & complete with key, case 12 in. long (30.5 cm.), 30.25 oz.
