MARK OF JOHN LANGLANDS, NEWCASTLE, 1796,
Almost identical to the preceeding lot but with leafy calyx around the ovoid finial, inscribed within the applied wreaths "Northallerton Cup, won by Pleader, Octr. 15th., 1796." & "Anthony Hammond Esqr. & Thomas Wycliff Esqr.,Stewards", in fitted wooden box with trade label of R.Garrard & Brothers, London, 20¾ in. high (53 cm.), 102.25 oz.
