A VICTORIAN SILVER-MOUNTED CUT-GLASS CLARET JUG & A DECANTER EN SUITE,
MARK OF ELKINGTON & CO., BIRMINGHAM, 1849,
Both with Stocker's Patent mounts, pushing the sprung handle towards the neck to raise the stopper, the glass bodies with oval & navette panels, alternately plain & wheel-cut with fruiting vines, grape cluster finials, hound sejant crest within rococo cartouche engraved to each handle, the jug with fruiting vine-engraved collar & spout, 11¾ in.high (30 cm.).
