Side A: rearing griffin facing right, Side B: rearing horse facing right, palmettes with large scrolling tendrils under each handle; and a Gnathia ware skyphos, black glazed apart from reserved area at join of foot with body, decorated with band of scrolling waves with dotted tongues below, rim of foot with punched and painted ovolo, underside of foot with concentric circles, details in added white and yellow
