It is rare to find a copy of the khamsa of Nizami with such a large number of miniatures executed in the Isfahan style at this date. A comparable khamsa dated AH 1076/1665-6 AD with 41 miniatures signed by Talib, is in the British Museum (B.W. Robinson, A Descriptive Catalogue of the Persian Manuscripts in the Bodleian Library, Oxford, 1958, pl. XXVIIb and p.161).

A full list of all forty-six miniatures is available on request.
