A QAJAR CUERDA SECA GLAZED POTTERY TILE IN THE SAFAVID STYLE, IRAN, CIRCA 1900
Of square form, the yellow ground decorated in blue, lime green and turquoise enamels with a peacock beside flower sprays, within a blue border -- 7 7/8in. (20cm.); and a large Islamic style pottery bowl, 19th or 20th century, of conical form on short foot, the interior painted under a turquoise glaze with a symmetrical design of flower forms, the exterior with a bold design of floral interlace - 16 1/4in.
