A QAJAR POTTERY CONDIMENT DISH, IRAN, 19TH CENTURY
Of rectangular form, with three lobed open cavities to top, the surface around decorated with white scrolls on a brown ground, the interior painted at the bottom of each cavity with a man and small animal, a seated female figure, and a long-eared animal, the sides painted with scenes of figures and animals in cobalt blue, black and brown - 10in. (25.3cm.) long
