The circular top with original gilt-tooled black leather-lined surface above four frieze drawers with convex quarter fillets and four simulated drawers, on a baluster shaft and downswept reeded legs with brass caps and castors, the underside with Frank Ward's depositories label printed 'EXECORS OF THE LTAE [SIC]/VISCOUNT MOUNT GARRET' and inscribed in pencil '232', the knob handles later, repaired break to one foot
