A REGENCY BRASS-MOUNTED ROSEWOOD AND CALAMANDER SOFA TABLE
EARLY 19TH CENTURY
The rounded rectangular twin-flap crossbanded top, above two mahogany- lined frieze drawers with convex quarter fillets and original handles, with two simulated drawers to the reverse, on ring-turned trestle end-supports, joined by a conforming stretcher, on square tapering downswept legs, brass paw caps and castors, the feet possibly replaced, restorations to the top, one drawer faintly inscribed 'Bell'
28¼ in. (72 cm.) high; 59 in. (150 cm.) wide, open; 26 in. (66 cm.) deep
