The rectangular superstructure with a three quarter solid shaped gallery above a central later glazed door flanked by a pair of panelled bowed doors enclosing a shelf and a drawer above the rectangular hinged flap with a green leather gilt-tooled writing surface, the sides with harewood and yewood panels, above a frieze drawer with compartments and a cedar-lined side drawer with two inkwells, on square tapering legs with conforming brass caps and castors, the handles original, with ivory escutcheons, the bowed doors possibly associated
