"This bottle was fresher than the one in the big Richebourg retrospective held in 2001 (see Issue 5 or the database) with a similar mature burg nose with earth, damp leaves but less obvious sous bois and flavors that are rich, elegant, even pretty as well as more complex, all wrapped in a supple, textured and delicious finish that is beginning to thin out ever so slightly. I would be drinking this now as it may very well begin to crack up soon." BH, January 1, 2007
