With nickel-finished highly jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf's tooth winding, five minute repeating on two polished steel hammers, gold cuvette, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands, subsidiary seconds, in associated plain circular case with engraved initials CR to the back, repeating slide in the band, case signed Patek Philippe and numbered, cuvette numbered, dial and movement signed Tiffany & Co.

Lot Essay

According to the Archives of Patek Philippe, the movement of the present watch was not made by Patek Philippe. As the case is signed "Made for Tiffany & Co. by Patek Philippe & Co." it can be assumed that it was exchanged to a later date, possibly during a servicing at Tiffany.
