Provenance
The suite was created as a wedding gift for the Turin home of the vendor's grandparents in the early 1930s.

Lot Essay

The architectural and design studio B.B.P.R. was founded in 1932. The partnership exhibited at the Milan Triennales throughout the 1930s, and became internationally known through their collaboration with Olivetti during the 1950s. The glass tops of each table are centrally drilled with small holes to each accept a single flower stem.
