Of greenish tint, the funnel bowl with a rocaille cartouche flanked by two putti inscribed Dit Glas heb ik Self Geblaase in 'S Bosch Den 20e September 1780 Fect. HVEck, 'this glass I did blow myself in s'Hertogenbosch the 20th of September 1780 Fect. HVEck', on hollow multi-knopped stem, domed and folded foot

According to Kristin Duysters this goblet could have been produced in s'Hertogenbosch at the Van Bree workshop, although there are no records of H. van Eck in the local archives.
