A RARE FAMILLE ROSE QUATREFOIL JARDINIÈRE
QIANLONG JIAQING
Raised on four ruyi feet, enamelled and gilt around the exterior on each side with a group of three lotus blooms borne on leafy tendrils, framed by archaistic geometric scrolls, the everted rim with a band of ruyi lappets, the base with a band of lotus petals, all on a pale turquoise ground, the base later secured with a silver plaque engraved with its provenance
