SASHA STONE
Femmes -- Women. Paris: Arts et Métiers Graphiques, 1933. Folio (310 x 245mm). 22 black and white photographs on 20 leaves, the first mounted on the front cover, as issued. (Minor wear on title.) Original photo-illustrated portfolio (minor soiling on lower cover). Provenance: 'S[asha] S[tone], 18 rue de Naples, Bruxelles' (partially deleted pencil inscription, possibly in Stone's hand, on one of the portfolio flaps).
FIRST EDITION. A FINE COPY FROM THE STUDIO OF SASHA STONE. Stone and his wife Cami had moved to Brussels in 1932. The studio was located at 18 rue de Naples until the German invasion of Belgium in 1940.
