with foliate and decorative motifs on three surfaces, Leaf Ia table of latitude for fourty-eight European cities, Leaf Ib ten string gnomon points for latitudes between 38 and 55° and a vertical dial numbered 6-12-6, Leaf IIa with four concentric hour scales for latitudes 55, 50, 45 and 40° and central compass basin with eight-point windrose, labelled, with magnetic north delineated and blued-steel needle, Leaf IIb plain.
