A CARVED JADEITE GUANYIN
The three-coloured material of luminous colourless ground with light celadon, tinge of light lavender and honey yellow splashes and patches on the back, representing the rebus 'fu lu shou' or 'good fortune, prosperity and longevity', very well carved as the Goddess of Mercy in meditation, sitting on a rock with lotus flowers, one hand holding her robe belt and resting on her raised leg, to the lotus leaf back and carved wooden stand, carving approximately 13.8 x 9.3 x 5.0 cm, wooden stand approximately 14.5 x 5.5 cm
With report no. KJ 21623 dated 19 March 2007 from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory stating that the carving the natural jadeite and no polymer is detected
