A CARVED JADEITE ORCHID
The material of luminous colourless ground with bright to intense honey yellow splashes and patches, finely carved as a blossoming orchid issuing from a semi-opaque rock, with butterfly, bee, and snails resting on the buds, petals and leaves, fixed onto the wooden stand with a glass case cover, carving approximately 16.3 x 14.8 x 9.0 cm, stand approximately 21.5 x 14.0 cm, case approximately 19.0 x 12.0 x 21.0 cm
With report no. KJ 21730 dated 22 March 2007 from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory stating that the carving is natural jadeite and no polymer is detected
