Two singing birds-in-cage probably by Phalibois
the first larger bird with mauve and light grey plumage, upon brass T perch, the second with light orange and dark green plumage, and once actuated, taking in turns to sing a paused 1-2-3-4 sequence birdsong, with ivy and white flowers decorating the interior of the circular brass domed cage with hoop top, the base of pressed gilt metal with tooled details, with winding handle -20½in. (52.1cm) high
