QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The upper surface of the cover deeply and finely carved with a continuous design of prunus floating among turbulent waves, the cover further carved with three leaping carp representing the rebus ruyu deshui (like a fish receiving water) signifying delight and joy, the sides similarly decorated, the interior lacquered in black
