[EINSTEIN, Albert (1879-1955)]. Letter and picture postcard to Einstein and his first wife, Mileva Einstein-Maric, from her parents, Milos and Marija Maric, n.p., [25 February 1907] and 9 August 1908, in Serbian, sending news from Mileva's home, the letter written after the Einsteins had visited them ('we were glad that you enjoyed your trip'), responding to the Einsteins' scheme to buy unspecified goods in Serbia for taking back to Switzerland (the customs and shipping make it prohibitive), but proposing to send them 1,000 crowns instead, together 1½ pages, 8vo, and 3 pages, 4to, the picture postcard depicting chickens; with translations, and two photographs, one depicting the house the Einsteins stayed with in Serbia.
