Three parts in one vol., 2° (315 x 208mm). Engraved title illustration to both parts of the Philosophia Moysaica, and over 30 illustrations in text. (Half title and title with marginal crease, the first few leaves with dampstain at outer margins, six leaves with marginal flaws or corners torn away.) English panelled calf with gilt arms of Robert Kerr, Earl of Ancram (born 1636), later Marquess of Lothian (head of spine restored, lower cover stained). Provenance: Robert Kerr (binding) -- 'e libris Kulenkampii' (18th-century inscription on front pastedown; further 18th-century inscription on free endpaper; bookplate removed).

FIRST EDITION IN ARMORIAL ENGLISH CALF OF FLUDD'S MOYSAICAL PHILOSOPHY. 'This was the author's last work and, as such, fitly represents his matured opinions on Metaphysics, Philosophy, &c ... [It was] the only one of any importance that he translated into English, and thus evidently intended it to be more popular than his others' (Gardner, Rosicrucian Books, p. 33).
