A collection of approximately 112 letters to Joseph Collinson, c.1890-1916, most connected with his activities with various reform movements, particularly relating to vivisection and flogging in prisons and in the navy, the correspondents including: Alfred Russell Wallace (2), Frank Harris, John Galsworthy, 'Ouida' (i.e. Maria Louise Ramé, 7 letters), Walter Crane (2), Oliver Lodge, Sir Charles Dilke, Aylmer Maude, fellow campaigner Henry Stephen Salt (14 letters) and many others, approximately 112 letters in total.
