Autograph note signed ('A.E.'), [Princeton, 26 July 1954], in German, at the foot of and responding to a typed letter addressed to Einstein by Jean-Jacques Fehr, proposing that religion and science are not only not reconciliable, but also spring from the same origin: Einstein responds 'In this matter there is no authority. I can only emphasise that your conception essentially coincides with my own ...
