CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, MARQUE A SIX CARACTERES ET EPOQUE YONGZHENG (1723-1735)
Reposant sur un petit pied, la coupe de forme légèrement tulipée, l'extérieur rehaussé d'une fine glaçure jaune citron, l'intérieur et la base réservés, cette dernière portant la marque à six caractères de l'Empereur Yongzheng en bleu sous couverte ; minuscules éclats
Hauteur: 4,8 cm. (1 7/8 in.), Diamètre: 7,3 cm. (2 7/8 in.)

Lot Essay

A pair of similar wine cups, from the E. T. Hall Collection, was sold in our London Rooms, 7 June 2004, lot 267. Compare also two pairs of slightly larger lemon-yellow cups, one illustrated by J. Wirgin in Chinese Ceramics from the Axel and Nora Lundgren Bequest, Stockholm, 1978, pl. 58 and 77 ; the other illustrated in R. Kerr, Chinese Ceramics - Porcelain of the Qing Dynasty 1644-1911, Victoria and Albert Museum, Far Eastern Series 1986, p.93.
