MARK OF JAMES LE BASS, DUBLIN, 1808,
On trumpet foot, sides richly chased with flowers beneath a broad leafy band, the lower body with acanthus leaves above the foot, the cartouches later inscribed "3rd. Battalion, The Prince of Wales Leinster Regt." & engraved with the regimental badge, zig-zag engraving around the foot, 8¼ in. high (21 cm.), 21 oz.
