A Chinese celadon and blue and white vase, 20th century
the pear-shaped body painted in underglaze blue with a border of archaistic dragons flanking ruyi-heads, the shoulder with a foliate shaped apron, painted with ruyi-heads below a key-fret band, surmounted by a waisted neck and trumpet shaped mouth with a brownish band to the rim simulating metal, all alternating with a celadon glazed ground, the interior white glazed -- 11 15/16in. (30.3cm.) high.
