the confronting animals seated on rectangular bases, with ferocious fanged expressions, beaded articulated eyes and tightly curled mane, their forelegs variously raised on a brocade ball and a lion cub, the stand with twin shaped apertures to the sides, painted with scrolling dragons -- 19 7/8in. (50.5cm.) high. (2)
