The English East India Company sale records mention nine ribbed with feet over-handled blue and white teapots brought aboard the Dashwood and sold in London on 8 May 1707.

A Chinese blue and white overhandle teapot and cover, Kangxi (1662-1722), circa 1705
of ribbed baluster form with a bamboo shaped spout surmounted by an upright bracket handle and a ribbed domed cover, painted with peony, lotus, grass and daisy sprays reserved on a foliate and floral ground, the handle with cloud scrolls -- 7in. (17.8cm.) high; two blue and white barbed dishes, each painted with magnolia and floral sprays amidst rockwork, encircled by petal panels with blossoming branches, the reverse with floral sprigs, underglaze blue ribboned marks, Kangxi -- 8¼in. (20.9cm.); and two similar blue and white Nanking dishes, each with a medallion enclosing boats and pagodas in a mountainous river landscape, Qianlong -- max. 10 13/16in. (27.4cm.) diam. (5)
