Fletcher and Hunter, Edinburgh. Dated 1848 and 1850
Both in conforming drum head cases with spirit levels above tapering plinths raised on adjustable ball feet, the engraved and silvered dials with Roman chapters, subsidiary rings for seconds and date, the first signed FLETCHER & HUNTER EDINR A.D 1848 and the second signed Fletcher & Hunter Edinburgh. A D 1850., the single chain and fusee movements with maintaining power and dead beat escapement, with pivoted crutch and fine beat adjustment; one pendulum
