The female figure holding a rod with spring suspension for the swinging gridiron pendulum, the latter supporting a glass dial secured by retaining screws, with gilt Roman chapters and gilt-metal hands, receiving impulse via a crutchpiece from a single barrel movement housed in the counter-balanced spherical terminal applied with star mounts (one concealing the winding square), with anchor escapement and stamped E.ROSSET and numbered 2869
