A LOUIS XVI ORMOLU-MOUNTED, MAHOGANY GAMES TABLE

The rectangular brown gilt-tooled leather-lined reversible top with a baize-lined playing-surface to the reverse, enclosing a horn and stained horn-inlaid tric-trac board, above a panelled frieze with two small drawers to each side, flanked by mille-raie panels, on fluted tapering legs headed by trailing-husks and terminating on toupie feet, with 21 ebonised disks, 20 boxwood disks and one green-stained disk, stamped 'N. Petit' to the reverse, with remains of a paper label 'Marquis de Auvoir
